Selection & Recruitment

Marine experienced recruiters evaluate all submitted candidates and their documentations. All previous experiences are verified.

Organisation Sign-on / sign-off

Arranging relieves being more and more challenging (visas, vessels’ tight schedules, delays, flight bookings…), the Operations Department is very reactive and can supervise relieves in full autonomy:

> Direct contact with Ship Agent
> Arranging for visas / “ok to board”
> Booking / buying air tickets
> Providing Seafarers with necessary information during on-signing briefing
> Amending travel schedule as necessary (24/7)

In order to speed up and simplify ship-Owners’ tasks, every client is allocated with dedicated Office skilled coordinator.

Payroll Management

Seafarer Employment Agreements (SEA) are MLC 2006 fully compliant. Wages levels and general conditions are agreed beforehand between Ship-Owner and Pelican Marine Services.

Pelican Marine Services has developed an in-house software to efficiently manage crewing payroll.

Support is systematically given to Seafarers who need clarifications or who are facing transfer issues.

Assessment & Training

Over the years Pelican Marine Services has acquired a great experience in arranging trainings in recognized academies / training centres.

In coordination with shipowners, Pelican Marine Services can organise individual or grouped trainings in training centres located in Europe, North Africa and West Africa.

Thus, we benefit from a high Seafarers’s retention rate.
