In 2006, the International Labor Organisation (ILO) adopted the Maritime Labour convention (MLC 2006).
This convention is considered to be the fourth pillar of maritime regulation, complementing three other major conventions adopted by IMO: SOLAS, MARPOL and STCW.
MLC 2006 is now in force from August 2013.
Since 2012, Pelican Marines Services is certified by DNV-GL as “Crew Manning Offices and Private Recruitment and Placement Services”.
Since 2014, Pelican Marines Services is approved by Swiss Maritime Navigation Office (SMNO) in compliance with MLC 2006 requirements.
