Pelican Marine Services was created in February 2010 on the basis of the expertise and maritime skills of its founder:

Frédéric FIEVET, C1NM and Maritime Transport Law MBA trained, after 10 years at sea, he was fleet manager for 12 years for an European Tanker shipowner.

Thierry MASSIOT, officer first class, after several years at sea, moved to West Africa in 1997 to establish a network of H&M and P&I expertise. He extended his activities to crew management in 2002 and set up the current network of agents. He expanded his business to include crew management in 2002 and set up the current network of authorised agents.

Since 2010, Pelican Marine Services SA has been improving crew management services in Tanker and Offshore supply industries, developing a long term and fruitful relationship with Apremar.

> Partnership in 2011 with Apremar in Ivory Coast, the network’s operational and training centre.

> Introduction in 2012 of Apremar Cameroun, Douala, for local content contract.

> Introduction in 2014 of Apremar Maroc, Casablanca, for local content contract and specific training.
